Congratulations to Eryn Lynum and the launch of her new brand an website! This project is especially near and dear to my heart because I have known Eryn for a while and worked with her on quite a few of my other client projects—she is an incredibly talented writer and has done the copywriting for many of my clients.

In addition to Eryn’s skills as a copywriter and marketer, she is an amazing mother who refuses live in the fast pace of life, and instead takes her kids on adventures that teach them about who God is through the wonders of his creation. She also has an amazing book, 936 Pennies: Discovering the Joy of Intentional Parenting, as well as another book set to release early 2023: Unshakeable: Equipping Today’s Kids with a Resilient Faith Rooted in the Wonder of Creation.

It was truly such an honor and joy to work on this project and take what I know of her business and the amazing person she is and turn it into a beautiful brand and website that captures this.

When doing the initial research for this brand, I knew that nature needed to be a big part of this brand since her books, photography, and writing include a lot of nature imagery. Eryn loves old scientific nature illustrations, so that is where we drew inspiration for the assortment of backgrounds that play a huge part in her brand identity.

For her logos, I used wildflowers for the icon to give it a playful feel and tie it back to nature. Then, I used a timeless, classic serif for the main typeface paired with a handwritten font for an organic touch. Lastly, we went with a bold, fun color palette that uses an array of colors found in nature. I am so in love with how this brand turned out: organic, detailed, and playful, yet simple, soft, and poetic.
