I’m so excited to reveal the new brand created for Lemon + Honey, a traveling cocktail bar located in the Pacific Northwest. Depending on what you need for your event (beer, wine, cocktails, or mocktails), Lemon + Honey offers a variety of services, so that you can make the bar a fun and unique experience.

The name Lemon + Honey is inspired by Savannah’s (the business owner’s) favorite drink, a Bee’s Knees, which is made up of gin, lemon, and honey. When creating this brand, I wanted to play off the name and created multiple illustrations of bees and lemons. These illustrations are used throughout the logos and backgrounds to create a unique, cohesive, and recognizable look, while also reflecting the business name.

For the brand itself, we went with a bold look, mixing both modern and classic to create a style that is unique, recognizable, and timeless to help the business stand out in the wedding/event industry.

The brand features a moody color palette with a neutral base and accents of subtle/muted yellows and shades of olive and sage. Then, we used a classic, serif font in the primary logo, and paired this with a variety of playful, clean, modern typefaces (my favorite is the outlined font used as an accent).

All of these different elements work together to create a brand that is unique in the way that it juxtaposes classic with modern and textured organic with clean geometric.

As I write this post, Savannah is in the process of preparing her traveling bar, so she can start serving weddings in her area, the Pacific Northwest. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Cheers to the launch of her new business! 🥂
