Today’s project is a bit different than my usual style, but I love how it turned out nonetheless. This brand and landing page was created for Josh Wright, who’s music speaks is soulful, cinematic and communicates the timeless message of the Gospel. When we set out to create his brand, we aimed to create a design that is masculine and strong yet peaceful and organic, resembling the music that Josh creates.
For the main font, we chose a modern wide sans serif that gives the brand a bold feel. Then, we paired this font with a shield logo that communicates strength and a JW monogram that resembles the keys on a piano. Lastly, we included hand-drawn illustrations and painting of trees and instruments throughout to give that rustic, organic vibe. Like I said before, this brand is a little different than my typical style, but it was so fun and rewarding to work on something that was a challenge.
